FOR COACHES AND FITNESS CREATORS
Is your program ready to be an app?
Twelve things to check before your programs go into your own branded iPhone app. Four of them only you can do, because Apple requires them. The other eight I prepare with you if they aren't ready. Nothing on this page needs to be perfect before we talk.
What Apple and the App Store require
- An Apple Developer account in your name or your business's name. Enrolment takes a few days and the agreements must be accepted by the account holder.
- Banking and tax forms completed in App Store Connect. That is how Apple pays your membership revenue to you.
- Rights to everything in the app. Your programs, your exercise names, and any photos or video you supply must be yours or licensed to you.
- A privacy policy for your app. The platform supplies a template you adapt; it must be published before submission.
What makes the build fast
- Each program written as sessions. Exercise, sets, reps or time, rest. A PDF, spreadsheet or Notion page is fine.
- Exercise names used consistently. "Romanian deadlift" in one program and "RDL" in another become two exercises unless we map them.
- A progression rule per program. What changes week to week, even if it is one sentence.
- Nutrition guidance in numbers, if you give it. Targets and ranges, rather than prose.
- A logo or wordmark and one brand colour. Any format works. Vector is nicer, not required.
- An app name that isn't taken on the App Store. I check this for you before anything is built.
- A membership price in mind. Or a willingness to talk it through; I can share what has worked.
- A launch audience. Where your members will hear about the app on day one.
If you'd rather skip straight to what it costs: get pricing and a walkthrough by email. No call required.
